Forge’s i30 N/Veloster N intercooler uses a stepped bar-and-plate core with cast end tanks and a divider on the turbo side.

  • Black textured powder-coated intercooler and boost pipe.
  • Fabricated ducting directs air through the core.
  • 65mm inlet and outlet connections.
  • Replacement hot-side hard pipe: 64mm, compared with the 50mm source-listed original pipe.
  • Supplier dimensional comparisons: core volume +129%; frontal area +71%.
What is included
  • Intercooler, hot-side hard pipe and required installation hardware.
Required parts & machine work
  • The Veloster N may require a small amount of trimming to a plastic tab behind the bumper.
Important product notes
  • Forge’s power example combined the intercooler with an intake and aftermarket cat-back exhaust: 307bhp and 347lb-ft versus the cited 275bhp/278lb-ft baseline. It is not an intercooler-only or RVE output guarantee.
  • Forge reports 24°C versus 48°C intake temperatures after repeated dyno pulls in 15°C ambient conditions. Results apply to that supplier test.
