KDM Tuners source listing

KDM Tuners combines forged pistons, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets and fasteners for a Gamma 1.6T engine rebuild. Engine, piston, main-fastener and optional valve-spring choices must match the intended build.

Fitment & application
  • Gamma 1.6T (2013–2018), or the source-designated Gamma II 1.6T with 10:1 compression in equipped 2019+ models. Confirm the engine and piston selection before ordering.
  • The 2019+ condition applies only to models equipped with the specified Gamma II engine; it does not establish fitment for every Hyundai/Kia 1.6T.
  • Optional ARP 10mm main studs are not a drop-in replacement.
Features & specifications
  • Choice of 77.5mm Traum 9.5:1 or 10:1 pistons, or 77.5mm JE 9.5:1 pistons.
  • Molnar 4340 H-beam connecting rods with 3/8-inch ARP2000 bolts.
  • Optional Supertech beehive valve springs.
  • OEM main bolts: 9mm × 1.5 thread. Optional ARP main studs: 10mm × 1.25.
  • ARP2000 head studs: 6-inch length, with specialty/customized nuts for HPFP and cam-sensor clearance.

Required parts & machine work
  • The ARP main-stud upgrade requires block drilling, Time-Sert installation and align honing.
  • An engine builder must confirm piston compression, clearances and the complete supporting build.
Important product notes
  • KDM reports power-capability claims that depend on supporting modifications; these are not RVE output guarantees. The supplier specifically requires fueling changes and block sleeves for its 600hp claim.
  • Selecting Supertech springs adds them to the kit; they are not included when No is selected.
Supplier production notes
  • KDM states a conditional 4–8 week wait if kit components require manufacture. This supplier statement is not an RVE dispatch commitment.
