Weldspeed Hyundai N Intake Manifold - I30 / Elantra/ Kona

A different approach to the Hyundai N intake side. Weldspeed’s manifold for the Theta II G4KH 2.0L combines a larger plenum, revised runners and optional port-injection provision for i30 N, Elantra N and Kona N builds.

Construction and layout

• Gravity-cast A356 aluminum.

• Increased plenum volume and revised runner geometry.

• Original throttle-body location and mechanical fit to the OEM piping and throttle body.

• Viton O-ring seal.

• Port-injection provision with an optional fuel-rail kit.

Calibration required

This manifold removes the original tumble-vane system. Weldspeed specifies an ECU remap by a calibrator/tuner and removal of the actuator assembly from the engine compartment. Review the installation notes with your installer before purchase; OEM piping fit does not eliminate the calibration requirement.

Manufacturer development

Weldspeed reports improved spool-up and low-end torque in its back-to-back test on a facelift engine/turbo combination. It also reports CFD work targeting no more than 1% cylinder-to-cylinder airflow variation. Those are manufacturer claims for the stated development context, not a measured result for every RVE customer’s setup.

• Water/Meth Injection: Yes or No.

Confirm the exact contents of your selected injection configuration with RVE. Provision for injection or an optional rail does not mean that injectors, lines, fittings or control hardware are all included.

Build time and dispatch

For new preorders, estimated dispatch is 50–70 calendar days from the order date unless a product- or batch-specific production update confirmed for your order gives a different timeline. Carrier transit is additional. Existing order commitments remain unchanged.

Weldspeed’s published general manifold build indication is 7–10 business days, with build time varying by selection. That manufacturer guidance is separate from RVE’s preorder dispatch estimate and does not include carrier transit to the customer.

Results depend on the vehicle, supporting hardware, condition and calibration. No particular power or torque gain is promised.
