Choose the major parts for a Theta II engine build in one kit. KDM combines forged pistons, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets and studs, with sleeve and valve-spring options for the planned specification.

Fitment & application
  • KDM lists this Theta II parts kit for Elantra N, Kona N and Veloster N engine builds. Confirm the exact engine, model year and transmission before planning a build.
  • Not a universal Hyundai/Kia 2.0T kit. No compatibility is established here for Genesis, non-N engines, 1.6T engines or electric N models.
Features & specifications
  • Five configuration choices: sleeves, valve springs, piston compression, rod type and head-stud option.
  • 86.5 mm Traum pistons: 9.5:1 or 10:1 compression; KDM identifies 9.5:1 as the original ratio.
What is included
  • Selected Traum pistons and Molnar or Manley connecting rods.
  • ACL main, rod and thrust bearings.
  • Theta OEM rebuild gasket kit.
  • ARP upgraded 10 mm main studs and the selected head-stud option.
Required parts & machine work
  • Professional engine assembly and specification checks.
  • Darton sleeves and SuperTech/GSC valve springs are optional; select them explicitly.
  • Plan machining, fueling, turbo hardware and calibration with the engine builder.
Important product notes
  • This is a parts kit, not an assembled engine or installation service.
  • KDM says builds above 600 hp need sleeving and additional supporting modifications; supplier performance claims do not guarantee output.
  • Confirm stud dimensions and installation details with the builder: the source stud paragraph is ambiguous.
